Brief Architectural Description

Late-Pointed aisled cruciform by Close, 1893. Clerestory. SW tower. Bombed 1941 and extensively re-built. 3-bay N & S arcades, N extended to form NW transept/baptistry. 5-light E & W windows with panel tracery. Sequence of 7 steps from nave to sanctuary.
